You must bring:

✓Proof of ownership or legal right to the vehicle
✓Full payment for all applicable charges
✓Valid driver's license & proof of insurance (if driving)
✓Written/notarized authorization (if collecting for someone else)
✓Agency or police authorization (if vehicle has a hold)

Step 2: Search AutoReturn for Portland city tows

Use AutoReturn only if your vehicle was towed within the City of Portland city limits. It is the City of Portland's towing-record search.

Step 3: Contact the local police records office

If the vehicle was towed outside Portland city limits, call the police or sheriff records office for the county where it was towed. Use the county contacts below.
